Lean Thinking

Creativity and Innovation

Course Overview

Lean is often mistaken for a manufacturing toolkit. It is really a way of seeing: learning to spot the waste hiding inside any process — waiting, rework, overproduction, motion — and removing it relentlessly while respecting the people who do the work. This course teaches lean thinking for any sector, service or industrial. Delegates map a real process from their own organisation during the week and leave with an improvement plan they have already started.

What You Will Achieve

  • See processes through the lens of value and the eight wastes
  • Map a value stream and expose where time and money disappear
  • Apply root-cause tools instead of treating symptoms
  • Design flow and pull into processes that currently batch and queue
  • Lead improvement in a way that wins the workforce rather than alienating it

Who Should Attend

Operations managers, process owners, quality professionals, service delivery managers and anyone tasked with doing more with the same resources — no manufacturing background needed.

Advanced Certificate in Employee Relations Er

Done well, Certificate in Employee Relations Er protects margins, reputations and careers; done badly, it quietly costs all three. The 5-day format alternates short theory sessions with extended practice, so skills are built rather than merely described.
